TRAC USA

Peter Hiemstra, ceramics

The Representational Art Conference is an initiative of professor Michael Pearce and professor Michael Lynn Adams of the Californian Lutheran University, USA. The goal is the resurrection of classical values and techniques in fine arts.

Background:
Halfway the 20th century, representational art was displaced everywhere in the “free west” by focusing on modernism. At the same time all the art academies stopped with traditional training. But times are changing: representational art is back in the world of fine art. TRAC is pioneering in this movement.
